SPOT da Juventude is a collaborative project from OUT.RA, ADAO, Gasoline, Hey Pachuco and the Barreiro Municipality.

Lonker See / Lunnar Lhamas

LONKER SEE started as an ambient duo by Joanna Kucharska and Bartosz Boro Borowski. After recording their first EP the band decided to invite two jazz musicians – Tomasz Gadecki and Michał Gos, to change their formula, exploring a wider spectrum of genres. The powerhouse quartet now dives into jazz, space, stoner and psychedelic rock blending heavyness, space, and long form jams with a lot of room for improvisation. The band is now promoting their acclaimed third album “One Eye Sees Red” on a long european tour.

LUNNAR LHAMAS are the duo of André Neves and José Veiga, two up-and-coming artists from Barreiro who expand on their love for ambient synthscapes and rythmic propulsion.

JOÃO PAIS FILIPE / BALEIA BALEIA BALEIA

A special night joining OUT.RA and GASOLINE on stage.

First up, drummer, percussionist and sound sculptor João Pais Filipe revisits Barreiro after being one of the highlights at OUT.FEST 2018, with his rythmically transcendent solo percussion show evoking a sort of primordial techno music.

Baleia Baleia Baleia follow with their two-men sharpened rock, vibrant punk and occasional stoner moments – conjuring sweat in the brain and thoughts in the body with drums, bass and vocals.

March, April, May, June: OUT.RA Música In Barreiro

March will mark the return of percussionist prodigy from Porto JOÃO PAIS FILIPE, whose spellbinding set last OUT.FEST is still strongly imprinted in everyone's mind. He'll play at a shared night with the Gasoline association at their headquarters, with the duo BALEIA BALEIA BALEIA. completing the bill.

In April we'll host four Portuguese musicians connected to the prestigious CREATIVE SOURCES label, a worldwide staple for improvised music which will perform three variable geometry sets at the Municipal Library.

May brings forth the 3rd installment of our NOITE DA RAPOSA at ADAO, a special event showcasing up-and-coming local and regional talent in the wide fields of danceable & devious electronic music. The line-up comprises NADA-NADA, MIMIMIC, ODETE (back in Barreiro after performing at OUT.FEST 2018), MÉRI, SIMÃO SIMÕES and VIOLETA AZEVEDO.

Finally, in June, we're back at Gasoline to present polish powerhouse LONKER SEE, an amazing quartet bearing the torch of the finest rock psychedelia, with local duo LUNNAR LHAMAS opening.
